Well I guess I have to stop the tradition of starting with the same sentence. Last weekend was not what we really expected. We played two home matches against Houston and Rice. We beat Houston, but we lost to Rice.
The weird thing is that nobody really expected that we were going to lose any of those matches, and Rice beat us in three games! But to be honest, that defeat was a green light for us to wake up and work harder and pay attention on certain things that played big role in our winning matches, things we forgot in the match against Rice.
We had extremely high-level practices this week and today we are ready to fly to Orlando, where we are going to confront a good UCF team tomorrow night. After that, we are heading to Mississippi to play Southern Miss on Sunday.
This is going to be a hard weekend, especially since we are coming off a loss. This is going to be a great exam for our team and hopefully we are going to return from the trip with two wins.
I know some people might doubt our abilities right now, especially people from other teams, but I'm sure we going to play our last six matches of the regular season just like we planned.
Wish us luck this weekend!
Until next time
