3rd Annual Belles & Whistles Luncheon in the Books
The Blazer Women's Athletic Society is proud to announce a successful 3rd Annual Belles & Whistles Luncheon, which was held on Thursday, April 28, at The Club. This annual event raises money for UAB women's athletic scholarships, and news of the successful fundraising will be compiled and released soon. The Blazer Women's Athletic Society (BWAS) is an organization formed in 2008 to provide UAB's female student-athletes with the greatest opportunity for success in academics and athletics by forming a network of women who raise funds for scholarships and facilities and additionally serve as positive examples of sharing, leadership, and character.
Annual memberships to the BWAS run from August through July and are just $100 per year. Benefits of membership include supporting Blazer female student-athletes, invitations to events, lapel pin, discounted tickets, and more. BWAS Plus is an opportunity for individuals to gain membership and make a scholarship donation above and beyond $100 to support female athletes.
