1996 - The inaugural season of UAB women's soccer. Paul Harbin was hired in August of that year to head the Blazers' program, which he led to an overall record of 12-7-1 and a Conference USA mark of 5-4 during UAB's first season of competition.
2003 - The Blazers' won their first Conference USA championship when they captured the C-USA regular season title by finishing the year with an 8-2 record in league play. Head coach Paul Harbin was honored as the conference's Coach of the Year at season's end.
2004 - UAB made its first-ever appearance in the NCAA tournament after winning the C-USA tournament championship. The Blazers defeated Wake Forest, 2-0, in the first round of the NCAA tournament, before falling to #10 Tennessee, 1-0, in the second round.
2006 - The Blazers made a return appearance in the NCAA tournament after capturing their second C-USA tournament title in three years. UAB fell to Tennessee, 4-0, in the first round.
