Synchronized Swimming • 1999-2000 - The UAB synchronized swimming program is launched under the leadership of head coach Amy O'Donnell. • 1999-2000 - Bogdana Zareva becomes the first swimmer to be recognized as an honorary All-American by U.S. Synchronized Swimming. • 2002-03 - Lisa Riddell takes over as the second head coach of the Blazers. • 2004-05 - UAB finishes in fifth place at the U.S. National Championship. • 2006-07 - Sara Petrov becomes the program's first-ever four-time All-American.
