Haley Jared Named to the C-USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas – Haley Jared, a senior on the UAB volleyball team, has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Tuesday.
"Haley Jared sets a fantastic example to her teammates on how to be a successful student-athlete with a challenging major," said Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Development Caitlin Callaghan. "It has been a pleasure working with Haley the past three years, and I am excited for what lies ahead for her."
Jared has piled up the academic awards during her time in Birmingham. She has been awarded three Conference USA Academic Medals for posting a grade point average of 3.75 or higher and has been selected to the C-USA Honor Roll in each of her first three seasons.
The Hartselle, Ala. native currently has a 3.94 cumulative GPA and is scheduled to graduate in May with a degree in electrical engineering.
Jared finished her UAB volleyball career with 677 kills, 589 digs and played in 378 sets during her four years with the Blazers.
