Lindsay Nolan is in her third year with the Athletic Department and her first as Assistant Manager for Athletic Operations & Facilities. Nolan oversees game management for women's soccer, softball and volleyball; she also assists with game management for men's and women's basketball, as well as football. In addition, Nolan assists with the day-to-day operation of athletic facilities.
Prior to her current position, Nolan spent one year (2006-07) as the Assistant Ticket Manager and one year (2007-08) as the Marketing Coordinator for Women's Sports, where she oversaw marketing and promotions for all of UAB's women's sports and assisted with gameday promotions and marketing for football and men's basketball.
Before joining the staff at UAB, Nolan was at the University of Northern Iowa, where she oversaw the ticketing of NCAA Division I-AA football championship games, NCAA men's basketball first and second-round ticket sales, concerts and other special events, as well as daily ticket operations.
From 2001-2005, Nolan worked at the University of Wisconsin's Athletic Ticket Office where she assisted with football, men's basketball and men's hockey ticketing; she supervised ticketing for volleyball, women's basketball and women's hockey.
Nolan has also worked with the Chicago Wolves hockey organization as a ticket representative.
A native of White Heath, Ill., Nolan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in leisure studies and an emphasis in sport administration. During her time at Illinois, she worked for their Division of Intercollegiate Athletics as an intern in the Athletic Ticket Office, Athletic Public Relations, Fighting Illini Scholarship Fund and Marketing & Promotions.
Nolan is a member of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA).
