Prior to his latest stint with the Blazers, Jordan was the associate director for media relations at Indiana University from 2004-06. While there, Jordan was the media contact for the nationally-ranked men's basketball team, working directly with current UAB head coach Mike Davis. He also supervised the media relations efforts for Indiana's 2004 and 2005 men's soccer team, as well as the team's 2004 national championship run.
During his career, Jordan has been to nine postseason tournaments in men's basketball, including four NCAA Tournaments (three at UAB and one at Indiana) and five NIT appearances (four at UAB and one at Indiana) during his 11 years in the profession. He has also helped the media relations efforts for the UAB men's golf team (2008) and men's soccer team (2006 and 2011) when they made NCAA Tournament appearances.
Furthermore, Jordan serves as the media coordinator for the NCAA College Cup men's soccer national championship in 2011 and 2012, host by Regions Park in Hoover, Ala.
Jordan also completed internships with the Southeastern Conference (2001-02) and East Carolina University (2000-01) media relations departments.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in sports management. He is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), as well as the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA).
He and his wife, the former Leah Douglas, reside in McCalla with their daughter, Kerrigan, who was born on June 15, 2010.
