Chance Jones, who served as Associate Director of Development for UAB Athletics since January 2011, became Senior Account Executive for Blazer IMG Sports Marketing in March 2012. As Senior Account Executive, he fulfills all aspects of corporate sponsorship sales, manages inventory and provides customer service to existing and new sponsors.
During his previous tenure with UAB Athletics, Jones prospected, cultivated, solicited and stewarded Blazer Club members as well as managed the B Club and Blazer Rep Program.
He became a Blazer after working with the Dallas Cowboys ticket sales and services office. In this role, he was part of a history-making team that opened the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in the summer of 2009.
Jones also has sports industry experience in event management with the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship and athletics operations with Ohio University. He graduated from Ohio University with a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Sports Administration. He was a previous Birmingham resident in 2006 when he taught mathematics at Spain Park High School.
PERSONAL: Chance is married to the former Amy Little of Ashland, Ala., and they have one son, Sam (2).
