Joey Daly joined UAB Athletics in January of 2011 as an Assistant Director of Sales and Development. In that role, he will be responsible for group and individual ticket sales initiatives for all sports as well as overseeing the athletic department's Sales Academy.
Daly was named Associate Director of Ticket Sales and shifted responsibilities to UAB's marketing area in January of 2012.
Prior to moving to Birmingham, Daly interned with ISP Sports in the Georgia Tech office. While at Georgia Tech, he assisted with corporate sales, sponsorship activation and event management.
A native of Picayune, Miss., Daly earned his Bachelor's degree in history from Rhodes College. He later earned his Master's degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
PERSONAL: Daly is married to the former Laura Ann Meyers of Vestavia Hills, Ala. The couple currently resides in Birmingham.
