Belles & Whistles

Belles and Whistles (formerly the Blazer Women's Athletics Society) was formed in 2008 with the goal of providing UAB's female student-athletes with the greatest opportunity for success in academics and athletics by forming a network of women who will raise funds for the scholarships and facilities and serve as positive examples of sharing, leadership, and character.
The annual fundraiser for Belles and Whistles has historically been a women's luncheon to show support of UAB's women's athletics teams and raise funds for female student-athlete scholarships. This year, the event will be held in the evening and ladies are encouraged to bring their spouses, dates, etc. All event proceeds will equally benefit UAB women's athletics facility improvements and UAB female student-athlete scholarships (50%/50%).
The 2013 Belles and Whistles Dinner will be held on the Bartow Arena floor on Thursday, April 25, 2013, beginning with cocktails at 6 PM followed by dinner and the program at 7 PM. Tickets are $100 per person and tables of eight are available starting at $700. Click here for more information on ticket packages.
